What is your liver condition?

I don’t know what it is called but I have fluid in my stomach and need a liver transplant soon because of my Cystic Fibrosis

How old were you when you was diagnosed?

I was diagnosed at 14 years old

How did you feel?

At first I felt scared and worried because I didn’t really understand it but I’m ok now though

How were you told?

I was told by king’s college hospital

How does it affect you?

I get tired and my belly is really big and I itch a lot, people think I'm lazy as I miss school too

Yes tones

How often do you go to appointments?

Once every week or two weeks

How are you treated there?

Everyone is really nice and kind

What are the good and bad things about having a liver condition?

That you get to talk to people who have the same thing as you and get looked after well

Does anything worry you about having a liver condition?

Yes I worry about my future and how it will affect me

Have you got any messages for other young people with a liver condition?

Just keep fighting and don’t let it win because you are special and you’re the only one of you. I know it’s hard but it’s a part of you, don’t get yourself down and keep strong
