Several young people from the Midlands and their families enjoyed a VIP day out at Edgbaston on June 19, courtesy of Warwickshire's Twenty20 sponsors, BlackStar, who have nominated CLDF as their charity of the year.
The special guests were treated to lunch and enjoyed all the action from the comfort of a corporate box as the Warwickshire Bears took on Lancashire Lightning in a Twenty20 clash. And with BlackStar pledging £10 for every four scored and £20 for every six, they had good reason to pay very close attention!
"We're really grateful to BlackStar for providing everyone involved with such a fun day out" said Young Person's Officer, Laura Meehan. "All the young people who came along thoroughly enjoyed themselves and confirmed that they could all get used to the VIP lifestyle!"
